Alongside Vanessa Napolean, Kellie created Triple A (All Attitude Althletes). Triple A awards the states' top cheerleaders at their annual "Hawaii-Style Cheep Camp" held at Moanalua High School.

trAndrew™:
I went to the graphics room and looked at the 1995 yearbook. She was on the varsity cheerleading team and thats it. She wasn't in any other club.
Kellie Mikami cheered for MoHS all four years. She later went on to being a cheerleading coach at UH, where she later moved on and created Triple A or All Attitude Athletics with long time friend/cheer mate Vanessa Napolean.
Also, I'm not too sure what HHSAA stands for but shes the co-coordinator.
Thats about it. She seems very established, and her passion is definately cheerleading.
Focus:
Her passion as a cheerleader
Inpiration?
Her most memorable moment? / Memories
What her goal was when creating AAA?

Kellie Mikami was Sports Coordinator of MoHS HHSAA Cheerleading with Erika Buder-Nakasone (both held position for two years until 2003). She cheered for Moanalua Intermediate, Moanalua High School, and University of Hawaii. She was also former head cheer coach at the University of Hawaii and an instructor for NCA (1 year) and UCA (8 years). Former University of Hawaii cheerleader, Michael Baker, replaced co-head coaches Kellie Mikami and Erika Buder-Nakasone in 2003. Long-time cheer mates, Kellie Mikami and Vanessa Napoleon created Triple A (All Attitude Athletics)
FOCUS:
- What is it about cheer that made her so passionate
- What determined her to start Triple A

Background Info On Kellie Mikami:
Has cheered for Moanalua Intermediate (now Moanalua Middle), Moanalua High School, and also UH. She then coached for UH, was an instructor for NCA [365 Days] and UCA [8 Years]. She created Triple A Cheerleading with Vanessa Napolean. Triple A stands for All Attitude Athletes. She is also HHSAA Coordinator which stands for Hawaii High School Athletic Association.
I would try to focus on talking with her about how cheerleading has been a big part of her life.
My resource was bascially the internet.
Sites:

Kellie Mikami used to cheerlead for Moanalua Intermediate, Moanalua High, and for UH. She instructed at the NCA for a year, and at the UCA for 8 years.
She and Vanessa Napoleon created the cheerleading company, "Triple A" (All Attitude Athletics) from being inspired by Hawaii-Style Cheerleading. They both cheered at Moanalua Intermediate as well as UH, but I am not sure if it was during the same time period. Triple A also awards scholarships to some of the state's top cheerleaders at their Hawaii-Style Cheerleading Camp.
For the interview, we could focus on:
-What inspired her to create a cheerleading company
-What inspired her to cheerlead
-Why she enjoys it so much
-When her most memorable moment as a cheerleader/cheerleading instructor was
-When she knew that cheerleading was going to be her life-long passion
I used Google to find my resources.

while Kellie Mikami was caoching at the university of Hawaii the team dominated the regional cheerleading competitions. She was qalso in disagreement with the change in state tournament dates for cheerleading.
