One of five locations owned my a Vietnamese immigrant.
3. Lenny’s Sub shop
Sub shop that opened in 1998.
Why? It is very interesting and it is a good example of the “American dream”

Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck
Five Sixty is the skyline’s 560-foot landmark with the distinctive glowing ball that houses the master Chef’s fine dining restaurant in the city. The customers depart from the elevator at the center of the restaurant. The windows stretch from the ceiling to the floor offering a 360-degree view as the room revolves.
African American Museum
The African American Museum was founded in 1974 as a part of the Special Collection at Bishop college, historically black college that was shut down in 1988. It is the only one of its kind in the Southwestern Region devoted to the preservation and display of African American culture. It has one of the largest African American folk art collections in the U.S.
Union Station in Dallas
The Union Station was built in 1916 and was designed in the Beaux-Arts Classicism style. Upper level rooms are rented out for private parties, meetings and receptions, and there is office space available for commercial lease. Union Station is linked by underground tunnel to Reunion Tower and Hyatt Regency Dallas.

PIONEER PLAZA
The Pioneer Plaza is a commemoration to the people settling in Dallas and brought cattle to the markets. There are many native plants and trees and a bronze statues of 49 long horn cattle and cowboys on horses. It was created by the artist Robert Summers. It shows Texas finesse. It re-creates the cattle drive that brought Pioneers to Texas. It the second most visited landmark in Downtown Dallas.

Rock star fitness camp
The fitness camp is an energetic and lively work out that combines traditional exercises and core functioning conditoning with urban flair. They focus on 3 areas; resistance, cardio, and Stability. They have many locations including the Dallas Farmers Market.
HISTORY:
Holocaust Museum
The Dallas Holocaust Museum preserves the memory of the Holocaust to teach moral and ethical response to prejudice, hatred and indifference for the benefit of humanity. It teaches about the past learn, for today, and impact the future. A group of local survivors created the center to preserve the memory of what they had endured.
Keegan and Mel:
- Union Square: A possible story we could find here is mainly circled around the railway track. We were thinking that it could serve as an interesting story because it is a main source of transportation for many Texans that most of us haven't seen before, but will in 15 years. Along with that, since Texas is the largest state in the United States, everything is miles away from certain places and people could talk about how they feel about it, the pros and cons about it.
- 6th Floor Museum: This is the apartment that supposedly was the place where Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated JFK from. It is a very unique and tragic part of Dallas' history that we could talk to tourists and citizens about. The impact and historical essence that it has on people who visit the site could bring us a variety of opinions and emotions all brought together as one.
- Old Red Museum of Dallas County: Not only is this a museum of historical artifacts and information, it's also a place where they hold weddings and special occasions. It draws back from the prehistory of 1853 till present day. They say that in this museum, there's always something new you can discover.

The National Older Worker Career Center (NOWCC) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting experienced workers as a valuable and critical component of the nation’s workforce. History and Culture: The Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive
This could be a possible story because it is located right next to the Convention Center which is walking distance from the hotel. It honors Dallas' cowboy past by celebrating what brought the settlers to Dallas. There, they have sculptures and bronze statues used to re-create the cattle drive. The sculptures are believed to be the largest bronze sculptures of their type in the world.

Culture and History: Old Red Museum
Old Red Courthouse contains some of Dallas County’s most fascinating historical artifacts. There are interesting exhibits and interactive touch screens telling about Dallas County's history. This is a good story because the historical facts that are shown at the Museum can be used to show the reasons why Dallas is how it is today.

Eats/Culture/History: Dallas Farmer's Market
This farmers market started way back in the late 1800's and is still up and running today. It would be a neat idea to hold a MOTS at this farmers market and see who would have a great story there. Maybe there is a reason why someone sells what they sell or maybe someone went from rag to riches from selling at the market. Crowded places with a bunch of people are great places to go for a MOTS.
